PRODUCTS AND CARE

Q: Where are your products made?
A: We manufacture all of our pieces in our Toronto workshop to ensure they wholly meet our rigorous standards.



Q: What types of wood material do you use?
A: We construct our pieces from solid wood and MDF material of the highest quality. We source all of our raw materials from local suppliers and prepare them for fabrication in our workshop.



Q: What are your care instructions?
A: When properly cared for, your humidor or ashtray will only become more distinctive with age. To extend the life of your piece, we recommend the regular usage of a wood polish or furniture wipe on all solid wood surfaces (i.e. white oak, cherry, walnut, maple, mahogany etc.). If your product is finished in a solid color (i.e. painted MDF), we recommend using a Varsal to thoroughly clean your piece once a month. For best results, we recommend that you regularly dust your products using a soft microfibre dry cloth.
Prolonged exposure to a strong light source (sun or artificial light) may alter the finishing of your product.



Q: How should I store my wood products?
A: We advise you to store your pieces away from any strong light source (sun or artificial light) and to avoid vents that exhaust hot or cold air. Your piece will appreciate a consistent room temperature of 25°C. It is important to ensure that the room temperature does not rapidly fluctuate and that relative humidity is minimal.



Q: How should I season my cabinet humidor?
A: The seasoning process is unique with our products, an outcome of their artisan construction. We integrate solid 5/8” boards of kiln-dried Spanish cedar wood and avoid the use of low-end veneer material. We recommend the traditional sponge and distilled water method. This process should be repeated a total of 3 times to ensure your humidor is fully seasoned and ready for use.



Q: Do your cabinet humidors have a humidification system built-in?
A: Yes, all of our humidors are constructed with an integrated humidification system. We go to great lengths to ensure that the wiring is hidden and unexposed from the interior.




CUSTOM BUILD

Q: Are you able to work with exotic materials and accommodate requests outside of the options listed on your website?
A: As proud craftsmen and passionate artists, we feel we do our best work when challenged with a unique request. We can incorporate metal trim work, upholstery, leather, exotic skins, and stonework to realize a truly bespoke humidor.

FABRICATION & ORDER

Q: What is the lead-time for the cigar ashtray and cabinet humidor?
A: The lead-time for a cigar ashtray is generally 4 to 6 weeks, while a cabinet humidor is 12 to 14 weeks.



Q: Do you provide updates during the production phase?
A: Yes, you will receive an initial email thanking you for your order and additional notifications at the following stages of production: put into production and fabrication, packaged and ready to ship.



Q: How long does it take to ship my order?
A: We typically ship pieces from our facility within 24 to 48 hrs after completion. Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM EST.



Q: How can I track my order?
A: Once your order is shipped you will receive an online tracking number.




DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Q: Do you deliver internationally?
A: We are pleased to service international orders. Do note, however, that shipping costs can vary dramatically depending on the destination. Some regional couriers may also have restrictions or policies in place that preclude the delivery of our pieces.

Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
A: Once a finished piece departs our workshop, shipping times can vary depending on your location. Any shipping times provided by us are estimates only, subject to available inventory and our terms and conditions of use. Q: What is your return policy?
A: Please refer to the ‘Return and Exchange’ policy of our ‘Terms and Conditions of Use’.




ACCOUNT

Q: Do I have to create an account to order?
A: Yes, this is a requirement. Creating an account will allow you to checkout faster, save and edit information, create a wish list and track your orders. We will also send you emails occasionally informing you of new products and special events.



Q: Do you save my bank details?
A: No, we use a secure and trusted third-party payment processor and never retain your banking or payment information. See our privacy policy for further details.

A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
